Death. War. Two subjects so closely bound they almost seem as one. Many wage it. Others try to avoid it. Countries, companies even people wage it against others. Maybe in the pursuit of self-preservation. Maybe for a greater cause. Either way, the one to suffer more, is the one that is at the end of the barrel.
Swamp. Almost my most hated environment, next to deserts that burn under the white hot sun. Everything smelt of decay. The wood, the mud and even my own body, smelt of rotting remains of a once peaceful land. They had all died, all of my privates. I am the only survivor, a lone sergeant without the slightest meaning to live. But still, I trudge on as if I still have a purpose. Maybe I still do. Maybe I am the one who is supposed to liberate this world of injustice! Free the world of all war! Crush all who oppose me! They are meaningless compared to I, with such a destiny to bring such peace! But wait. What if I am not the one to do such a feat? What if I am just a pawn to those of a higher court?! I Will Crush them! And bring in a world in which I am leader to! No limits to my power!
